Projects are events under a Group that require multiple volunteers with varying skills. For example, the Technology Committee Group can have the following projects: Web Page, Equipment, Fundraising etc. Projects can also be created for specific events – example, Technology Committee Annual Budget. Projects have a collection of Requests. These are various tasks needed to complete the Project.

To create a Project click on the + icon in the Projects  page. While it is possible to create Projects at the Seva Community level, we recommend creating Projects under a Group (Technology Committee, in this case). This will allow you to logically collect all relevant Projects under a Group.

Once the relevant information is entered, the Project is created. Note that Projects have a Start Date and End Date.

Note: Projects can be created for the Seva Community (default) or they could be “Personal Projects”. Personal Projects allow the user to logically collect a collection of personal requests under a Project.r
